Provide primary care to a case load of approximately forty patients
Round on units daily and evaluate patients
Conduct examinations, perform diagnostic tests, provide preventive care, develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, and prescribe medications
Provide consultation and health education to nursing and ancillary staff
Collaborate with the facility's onsite Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, RNs, and ancillary staff
Actively participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Compensation and benefits
Salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 (depending on qualifications)
Monday through Friday workweek from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm

Skills & RequirementsWhat we're looking for
Professional licensure in Delaware as a a Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority and PA-C
Clinical competence in the care of adult and geriatric patients
You should be open to serving older adults; people who have loss of cognitive functioning: individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury; those who are experiencing mental illness; people who have substance use disorders; and those experiencing end of life issues.
