No first-time travelers accepted. License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT required Must-Have: Experience with required patient types, IV starts. Great communication, self-starter, multitasking skills, and the ability to produce high-quality images. Must be comfortable working independently.
Description: ASAP start needed. Manager interviews will be conducted. General information: Imaging room includes 1 MRI room. Patient types include mostly adults, but some older pediatric patients aged 10 years and older may be seen. The typical patient population includes outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, MedSurg, neuro (strokes), soft tissue injuries, head/neck/spine, hips, oncology, extremities, joints, abdominal, breast, prostate, and some angiograms. Patients should be limited to having no more than 2 studies at a time. No vented or monitored patients, cardiac cases, sedation, or pacemaker patients will be accepted. The average number of patients seen per day is 12-16. Support will be available from lead techs in other modalities and a manager/supervisor. A rapid response/code team is available. A radiologist is on-site Wednesday and Thursday for readings, with another group reading during normal business hours. Inpatient staff will bring patients to the MRI room, but some transport may be necessary. The equipment used is a 1.5 Tesla Philips Ingenia Ambition. Philips experience is preferred, but not required. No weekend rotation or on-call duties are expected. The facility will be closed for major holidays. Requests for time off must be approved by the manager. Shift times include a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts. Scrub color should be any solid professional color, with no graphics, logos, or designs.
