Conduct evaluations and design tailored treatment plans for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings Implement physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities Work closely with a diverse team, including nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation experts, to achieve the best patient outcomes Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and home exercise programs Keep comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress per facility and regulatory mandates Actively engage in multidisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure seamless patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are beneficial but not mandatory Skills
