Assisting in various surgical procedures while ensuring the operating room is prepared and organized Upholding sterile environments and following stringent infection control measures Providing instruments and necessary supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants Managing surgical instruments and equipment throughout procedures Overseeing supply inventory to ensure all items are ready for operations Working collaboratively with a team of nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel for optimal patient care Keeping precise surgical counts and documentation for each case Education and Certifications Required:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or its equivalent is a must Necessary Credentials:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or ability to secure within 90 days post-hire) Essential Skills and Qualities:
