Schedule 5x8.0 - 40 hours per week Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. The role includes responsibility for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Therapists will ensure the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities, while also serving as educators for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves. ResponsibilitiesComplete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on patient progress towards discharge. Document patient care activities in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all guidelines. Participate in the student program as assigned, providing supervision and evaluations. Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study. Adhere to discipline-specific practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing. Understand and contribute to the organization's performance improvement initiatives. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification.
