Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and crafting tailored care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently as permitted Empowering patients and their families with knowledge on prevention, wellness, and chronic illness management Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your scope Participating in patient follow-up care and chronic disease management Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless and holistic healthcare Maintaining meticulous records in electronic medical systems (EMR) Qualifications You Should Have
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Diverse clinical experience from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Needed
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey National certification such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a specialized equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) cards (or ability to secure these within 90 days) Skills That Define Your Success
