This includes, but is not limited to, clinical sites, students, and clinical agencies. The Clinical Coordinator works closely with the faculty to ensure that clinical experiences and practice skills are solidly integrated with and reflect application of theoretical material presented in the classroom and laboratory. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and evaluating clinical sites used for clinical experiences in the Surgical Technology program and maintaining positive relationships with staff at all clinical sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain all required documentation for students.
Obtain all spots for new students. Maintain strong relationships with clinical agencies.
Perform clinical site visits and document outcomes.
Facilitate the resolution of student and site issues that may arise.
Participate in faculty meetings, new student orientation, and other campus-based meetings as requested. Maintain 100% compliance with all accreditation guidelines in clinical aspects of the Surgical Technology program.
Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of an associate degree, bachelors preferred Experience: Current CPR/BLS Certification
