To ensure service delivery, personnel management and resource allocation and control in order to support and enhance patient care within area of responsibility. To provide management in assigned area of the imaging department as needed to create optimal workflow and cost effective, quality patient care.
Position Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Allied Health, Business or Radiologic Sciences or individuals currently enrolled in one of these programs and within 18 months of completion of the degree and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION: Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (R.T.(N)(ARRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or currently certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or currently credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.

Must be able to: (1) perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure; (2) accept responsibility for the direction, control and planning of an one's own work; (3) work independently; (4) recognize the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality; (5) convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress and/or grief; (6) relate to others in a manner which creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation; (7) communicate effectively with people from every socioeconomic, cultural and educational background; (8) exhibit flexibility and cope effectively in an ever-changing, fast-paced healthcare environment; (9) perform effectively when confronted with emergency, critical, unusual or dangerous situations; (10) demonstrate the quality work ethic of doing the right thing the right way; and (11) maintain a customer focus and strives to satisfy the customer's perceived needs.
