Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions in conjunction with physicians, or autonomously as credentialing allows Providing education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope Engaging in follow-up care and chronic condition management Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care Maintaining meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Education & Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program Essential Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days) Skills to Enhance Your Impact
