Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed patient assessments, including full physical evaluations and thorough medical history reviews Assist with the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical issues by interpreting imaging results and lab data Work hand in hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide essential support during procedures by preparing the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently managing surgical instruments Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge protocols, and patient instructions Qualifications
Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly desired Certifications
Active, unrestricted PA-C certification Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are required Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant Skills
