Weekly Estimated Pay: $805 - $895
Location: Staten Island, NY 10310 (Local, On?Site)
Role: Registered Nurse / Emergency Room Nurse / Emergency Department (ED) RN
Setting: Emergency Department (ED) - acute care, fast-paced environment
Shift: MIDS 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Shifts per Week: 1 (Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month)
Contract Length: 52 weeks
Start Date: July 6, 2026

Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA preferred)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
Ability to work 12-hour MIDS shifts and function in a high-acuity, fast-paced ED
Strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills (electronic health records experience a plus)
Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adults and/or pediatric patients in the Emergency Department
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs quickly and accurately in an acute care setting
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per orders and ED protocols
Perform critical interventions and respond to emergencies, supporting resuscitation and rapid response efforts
Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and efficiently in the medical record
Communicate effectively with patients and families during high-stress situations, providing education and emotional support
