Perform thorough patient evaluations, request necessary diagnostic tests, and create personalized care plans Diagnose and address urgent, episodic, or long-term health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing) Educate patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and management of diseases Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice Engage in patient follow-up and chronic care coordination Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, cohesive care Maintain accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Needed
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Skills That Make You Stand Out
