Performs safe, effective, and compliant transport of instrumentation and endoscopes throughout the hospital. Performs inventory counts of OR peel pouches. Assists with unloading washer/disinfectors. Assists with departmental cleaning practices. Performs as part of an interdepartmental perioperative team, to include effective communication and collaboration with interdepartmental teammates.
Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Experience: Central Sterile work experience 0-1 year preferred and Work experience with Inventory Control Systems 0-1 year preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities- Understands and follows all I C.A.R.E. Standards.- Able to work independently.- Works as a "Team" member.- Basic computer skills required. Additional Job Details (if applicable) This position is Monday through Friday with no weekends or call required. Hours will be 10:00am - 6:30pm OR 12:00pm - 8:30pm.
