Providing advanced technical leadership, the remote Lead Design Engineer will guide a team of Senior Design Engineers in the design and implementation of complex building automation systems while ensuring engineering excellence and adherence to design standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and provide technical oversight to a team of Senior Design Engineers, ensuring project schedules and deliverables are met Oversee the design and implementation of DDC control systems and develop HVAC and building automation control system designs Conduct QA/QC reviews of design deliverables and coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment and execution
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical for control system design Advanced understanding of HVAC systems, control sequences, and DDC integration In-depth knowledge of control communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in engineering environments
