Overnight Veterinary Assistant – ER/ICU NE Portland (Hollywood District) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + every other Saturday | 7:00 pm–5:00am with shift differentials . Full-time (weekends + holidays required) We’re redefining what it feels like to work in Emergency & Specialty medicine. Yes, we take patient care seriously, but we also take people seriously. Working alongside insanely skilled DVMs across ER/ICU, Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Ophthalmology

We’re a teaching hospital, which means growth isn’t optional, it’s part of the job. You’ll be supported, challenged, and continuously learning. And because this field can be heavy, we’re big on mental health support and real wellness resources. What you’ll do:
Triage patients + collect histories
Monitor vitals (incoming + hospitalized patients)
Jump into CPR when needed
Support diagnostics + treatments
Place IVCs and learn advanced lines (Central/PICC )
Provide updates to clients (yes, communication matters here)
Assist with phone triage for incoming ER cases
Help maintain a clean, organized space (team effort always)
Work alongside a highly skilled team delivering advanced care

Strong patient care skills + curiosity to learn more
Urgent Care or ER Experience
