Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending appropriate diagnostic procedures, and developing customized care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in conjunction with physicians or independently (as per your credentials) Delivering education to patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness, and health management Prescribing medications and therapies within your practice privileges Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care regimens Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care Logging detailed and accurate records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems What You'll Need to Succeed
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Qualities We Appreciate
