Transcribe Physician orders including medication and/or lab orders accurately and timely while maintaining confidentiality with all patient documentation. Coordinate patient healthcare activities/appointments, acting as liaison between HSU and recovery units, off-campus programs and outside healthcare providers. Provide clerical and other support to Health Services unit staff. Perform and monitor Vital Signs competently to ensure optimal patient care. Provide assistance to patients/customers as directed by the Registered Nurse to result in timely delivery of services. Continually seek and maintain knowledge necessary to facilitate optimal patient care and comfort.
This role is for 12-hour shifts. Required Qualifications:
High school or equivalent Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Training Program and/or minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience Must be age 21 or older Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree Current first aide certification Current nursing assistant certification
