Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 6-week assignment at a medical facility. The tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient care and technical operations. Responsibilities:
Operate GE NM scanners and related imaging equipment to conduct nuclear medicine procedures. Prepare and position patients for various scans such as bone, cardiac, thyroid, and therapeutic studies. Ensure accurate image acquisition while adhering to safety and quality standards. Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system. Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care and optimize workflow. Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
Registered NMTCB and/or ARRT(N) certification is required. Hold an MRT license from the Texas Medical Board. BLS certification from a HCA-approved vendor. Proven experience with GE Scanners, Xeleris processing, GE Centricity PACS, and Meditech. Demonstrate excellent venipuncture skills and strong computer proficiency. Minimum of 1 year of recent nuclear medicine technologist experience. Benefits & Growth:
