Registered Nurse - Pacemaker Electrophysiology The Registered Nurse - Pacemaker Electrophysiology assists clinic providers and staff in the deliverance and coordination of patient care, in order to facilitate patient satisfaction, clinic efficiency, and provider productivity. This position is responsible to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team. Registered Nurses plan and implement patient and family education. The Nurse Practices Act and Administrative Rules of the state of Montana govern registered Nursing practice. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) American Heart Association BLS American Heart Association ACLS required within 4 months of hire 1 year of nursing experience
Essential Job Functions:
Interrogating devices, monitoring and documenting patients response to device therapy or changes in settings, making adjustments per physician's order, remote pacemaker follow-up management, troubleshooting devices Arranges and coordinates follow-up care for patients in the Device Clinic. Maintenance of Device Clinic database Performs other patient tests and treatments as indicated by the Clinic provider, to include Spirometry, EKG's, Event-Holter Monitors and Ziopatch (application, decontinuation, interpretation) Keep examination rooms clean and stocked. Orders supplies. Collaborate with provider to coordinate care for Clinic walk-in patients. Provide support and education to patients with pacemakers and/or ICD's and with diagnosis of various dysrhythmias (ablation patients).

Schedule Requirements
This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Push/Pull (Repeatedly): Using the upper extremities to press or exert force against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. Fine-Finger Movements (Continuously): Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than using the whole hand as in handling. Vision (Continuously): Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and to read computer screens, printed materials, and handwritten materials. Cognitive Skills (Continuously): Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow. Exposures (Continuously): Bloodborne pathogens, such as blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Radiation in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed. Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses. Emotionally challenging situations, such as dealing with distressed patients or difficult family interactions.
