Join a highly-skilled and expanding cardiology team of 10 physicians (General, Interventional, and Cardiac Electrophysiology) and 17 dedicated Advanced Practice Providers. Call structure: Favorable 1:6 call schedule. Practice setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient care, operating out of a remodeled clinic space with close proximity to the hospital. Dedicated primary cath lab access at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, serving all 3 Ascension Via Christi Hospital locations. Employed position within a nonprofit health system with academic affiliation through the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita, offering teaching and mentoring opportunities. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Perform a broad range of complex coronary and peripheral interventional procedures. Collaborate with a highly experienced heart care team to advance our integrated cardiac service line. Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship is required.

Ascension Via Christi St. Francis is a 429-bed teaching hospital with a primary cath lab serving all three hospital locations. Region's only Level I Trauma and Burn Center. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
