GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
Conduct observations to understand the process of different positions throughout the Company.
Conduct objective, rigorous analytics to help the business improve profitability, operational processes, and customer service – e.g., identification and evaluation of revenue growth opportunities, resource optimization, optimal investment mix, competitive market dynamics, customer behavior, and pricing optimization
Distill vast datasets into actionable insights and recommendations that guide decisions and strategies. Develop presentation materials and assume an increased role in communicating analysis findings clearly and concisely to senior management, in both verbal and written formats.
Obtains data to support projects from property and corporate resources.
Analyze operational data using advanced analysis techniques.
Assist in the preparation of written reports outlining areas for improvement and developing the tools to help achieve those results.
Prepare analyses under the guidance of a project leader and above.
Provide assistance to other team members to meet departmental workload demand.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
At least a 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Able to be self-motivated and possess the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment which may include working alone or in a team.
Demonstrate business acumen; can articulate the fundamental drivers of business performance.
Desire to understand a broad range of operations within the casino and hospitality industry.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills to function effectively with attention to detail while performing multiple work assignments and meeting established deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Expertise in advanced Excel functions and features, including but not limited to pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation, and macros/VBA.
Proficiency in other data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Use technology to develop analytics and reporting tools.
Working knowledge and proficiency with software, such as Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL Server, and Outlook.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
May be required to obtain and maintain proper licenses in various jurisdictions, if applicable.
Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Reports any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any staff member that they have knowledge of.
