GOALS & SUMMARY As a Portland‑based Creative Intern, you will develop visual themes, attendee journeys, and support the team in 2D graphic design for internal brand work, client projects, and new business presentations. You will learn how a creative brief evolves into a concept and collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Render Artists.
We offer a part‑time internship, three days per week, ending on the designated end date. Although permanent full‑time positions are not guaranteed, many former interns with exceptional performance have been converted into full‑time employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Creative team with design for various creative deliverables required for internal brand work, client projects, and new business presentations.
Attend internal meetings with the Creative team and other departments within the agency.
Receive design feedback and implement it efficiently within a timeline structure.
Apply your design skill set and be open to learning and practicing new design skill sets throughout the internship.
COMPETENCIES
Demonstrate a foundation level understanding of design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma).
Share a portfolio of practical and aspirational designs that show an interest in events and experiences.
Show curiosity for design trends and emerging technology.
Be collaborative, a team player, and communicate feedback graciously.
Learn quickly, manage time effectively, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Show a range of talent, contribute your voice, and help up‑level how we show up for our clients.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exhibit a professional demeanor.
Operate with ethics, integrity, and values at all times.
Cooperate with other interns, employees, vendors, and clients in a fast‑paced environment.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU The hourly rate for this role is $22.00. Hourly rates are based on third‑party national average market compensation analysis and depend on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and may be required to stand as needed. Ability to ambulate on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day is necessary. Travel may be required via airplane, train, taxi, car, or other means of transportation.
