Create tailored treatment plans that comprehensively address both immediate and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that hone in on communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions. Collaborate interprofessionally with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, as well as families and caregivers to establish cohesive treatment plans. Empower patients and families through education that supports progress beyond clinical encounters. Occasionally assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuity of care. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that meets the standards set forth by state, federal, and organizational policies.
