What You'll Do
Verify physician order accuracy and prepare patients for imaging procedures Operate imaging equipment independently following protocol standards Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort Place devices such as nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, administer contrast media as needed Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic standards Perform quality control checks and notify/remediate issues promptly Assist with departmental operations, including inventory and maintenance tasks Adapt patient interactions to respect privacy and promote effective communication Follow all regulatory standards and maintain compliance with healthcare laws and facility policies
What You Need
Required:
ARRT Certification and current unrestricted state license BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Completion of an approved radiologic technologist program Proven experience performing cardiac/cath lab imaging procedures Strong computer proficiency and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule including holidays and on-call duties
