Cost Accountant Dublin Salary: €60-67k (DOE) Want a role where your numbers genuinely drive business decisions? Join a growing food manufacturer as a Cost Accountant, working at the heart of operations to improve profitability, influence key decisions, and help shape the future performance of the business. The role Maintain accurate product costings, including recipes, ingredients, labour, and overheads. Analyse product and customer margins, identifying cost-saving opportunities and performance trends. Support pricing decisions, new product costings, and recipe changes. Monitor manufacturing performance, including yields, waste, labour efficiency, and variances. Partner with Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to improve cost control and performance. Support month-end reporting, stock reconciliation, inventory control, and management accounts. Maintain costing data within ERP systems and ensure financial accuracy. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and ad-hoc financial analysis. About You Qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, or equivalent experience. Previous experience in manufacturing or FMCG cost accounting (food industry experience advantageous). Strong understanding of costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Hands-on and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
