Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist providing home health services in Oak Brook, IL. Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology care including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, communication-device recommendations, patient and caregiver education, and documentation of progress. Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure a coordinated Plan of Care that supports patient functional independence. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA, or CCC-eligible with progress toward certification. Current state SLP license required to start the assignment in Illinois. Proof of current CPR certification. Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology. Experience with home health environments required or demonstrated through prior home care work. (Client specific requirement.) Experience with HCHB, OASIS, and home health documentation systems required. (Client specific requirement.) Ability to travel locally and perform duties that may include heavy lifting, prolonged standing and walking, and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising home health aides related to the speech-language therapy Plan of Care. Experience recommending and implementing communication devices and aids.
Assignment Details
On-call required as requested; on-call needs are subject to change based on branch and staffing needs. Must be able to float to other locations as needed. Expected weekly productivity: 30 units; typical productivity/units target: 6 units per week.

Conduct evaluations, establish and implement Plans of Care, document progress, educate patients and caregivers, recommend assistive devices, participate in case conferences, and refer for additional services when appropriate.
