ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research. Part-time (12-20 hours/week) contract position available for Florida Licensed Physician (MD/DO) at Operation PAR's Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) programs in Inverness and/or Spring Hill, Florida. MAPS provides quality outpatient opioid maintenance therapy to individuals with Opioid Use Disorder. Operation PAR, Inc. is a full service nonprofit organization that has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical service and research. SCHEDULE (2-3 days/week):
1 day per week (M-F) for treatment team meeting: 7am-3pm 1-2 other days (M-F) per week: 7am to ~12pm GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Clinical leader of a multidisciplinary team comprised of APRNs, nurses, consultant pharmacist, counselors and therapists. Responsible for provision and coordination of care to MAPS patients. Conducts new patient admissions, manages inductions and ongoing problem cases, and conducts annual reviews. Conducts weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meeting to discuss individual patient treatment issues (positive drug screens, medication dosage adjustments, medical/mental health concerns, etc.) Supervises APRNs under protocol. REQUIREMENTS:
Florida Medical License in good standing Current DEA license Addiction and/or mental health experience preferred Able to use Electronic Medical Record Computer proficiency (able to accurately type with reasonable speed). Ability to understand and follow federal & state regulations governing clinic functioning Medicaid Provider number preferred Must pass level II background(https://info.flclearinghouse.com) and drug screen ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Commitment to workplace of dignity and respect Compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity rules and guidelines Ability to work with others cooperatively and cordially in a spirit of teamwork Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company's attendance policies Ability to accept direction from managers and supervisors in a respectful and collaborative manner ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:Ability to write accurately and legibly Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows-based computers Ability to accurately type at least 40 words per minute. Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time Ability to bend, stoop and reach Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds Good hearing and vision Reasonable accommodations will be made for otherwise qualified individuals with a disability.
