Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Senior Medical Assistant for a healthcare client in Los Angeles, California . This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity supporting a busy outpatient clinical setting. Contract Details · Type: Three Month Contract – possibility of extension · Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM · Pay Rate: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour · Location: Los Angeles, CA 90015 Top Responsibilities · Manage patient tasks and documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system · Conduct outbound calls and assist with patient scheduling and visit coordination · Room patients and obtain vital signs including blood pressure, weight, respirations, and temperature · Administer injections and immunizations as directed · Perform blood draws (phlebotomy) and specimen collection · Complete EKGs and other basic diagnostic procedures · Perform ear lavage and other in-office clinical procedures · Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures · Ensure exam rooms are properly prepared, stocked, and cleaned between patients Required Qualifications · Active Medical Assistant certification required · Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred · Strong communication and patient interaction skills · Bilingual Spanish speaking strongly preferred · Experience with high-volume outpatient clinics · Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Why work for Adecco? • Weekly Pay • 401(k) Plan • Skills Training • Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
