Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Nights This is a 13-week contract position. Night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Weekends and floating required. Join our team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse on the night shift. You will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, handling a wide variety of medical emergencies while ensuring timely and accurate interventions. Responsibilities:
Manage patient care for emergency situations, including trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies. Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and initiate treatment protocols. Perform advanced nursing procedures including but not limited to arterial line management and procedural sedation monitoring. Provide leadership and guidance as a charge nurse when needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required. Previous charge experience is required. Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
