Content Author - Ring.com Ecommerce Team As part of the Ring.com Ecommerce Team, the Content Author will own all content updates to the US website, including product launches, sitewide campaigns, URL updates, and product positioning updates. The role is a tactical executor, partnering with Engineering, QA, Design, International and Product Strategy teams.
The author will manage the product catalog in our CMS and the integration of our product information feed with other eCommerce tools, run weekly deployments, and partner closely with international authors to ensure accuracy. The role acts as the gatekeeper of the site, requiring meticulous attention to detail to catch mistakes, missing information, or broken systems before content goes live. The position reports to the Site Merchandising Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Own creation and execution of all content authoring for the website.
Create product detail pages with components, images, and copy for new product launches.
Execute content releases on a weekly basis.
Partner continually with international teams on site updates.
Collaborate with eCommerce team to optimize content and the consumer journey.
Maintain and update process documentation.
Build strong internal relationships with US eCommerce, merchandising, operations, and global eCommerce teams.
Troubleshoot technical issues with support from QA and engineering.
Work off hours (PST) on occasion for product launches.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
Experience with onsite marketing, lifecycle marketing, and digital advertising.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of HTML, XML, and Excel.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams to establish strong partnerships with demonstrable results.
