Qualifications & Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) / perioperative nursing experience
BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
Experience in one or more specialties preferred: Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric OR
Strong communication, teamwork, and sterile technique skills
Key Responsibilities (Operating Room Nurse / Perioperative Nurse) Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams during operations as an OR RN
Monitor patient status, safety, and aseptic technique throughout procedures
Prepare and maintain the OR environment, equipment, and surgical supplies
Maintain accurate documentation, perioperative records, and handoffs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality surgical patient care
