Every image you perform makes a difference, helping providers make informed decisions and improving patient outcomes. How you'll contribute An Ultrasound Tech who excels in this role:
Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable. Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities. Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area. Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.

What we're looking for Applicants should be a graduate of an approved course in Ultrasonography. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. Must be either a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OR Registered Vascular Technologist or be registry eligible. New graduates must take and pass the ARDMS registry within 2 years or hire. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
