Operating Room SPD Tech This position performs a wide variety of technical and manual tasks in the Operating Room, under the direction of Surgical Services, in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health. The Operating Room SPD Technician is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her contribution toward the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families. High School Graduate General Studies and One year of full time experience as a central service technician, upon hire or High School GED General Studies and One year of full time experience as a central service technician, upon hire and Six months experience in processing and assembly of surgical instruments. and Experience requirement may be waived for individuals who have successfully completed a Central Services Technician (CST) externship at Sequoia Hospital. Certified and Registered Central Service Technician, upon hire or Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor, upon hire or Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech, upon hire or Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech, upon hire
