À propos
About the Role Principal Data Engineer with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI platforms to design, build, and deploy data infrastructure that powers next-generation AI-driven security products.
What You'll Do
Architect, implement, and optimize data platforms and pipelines for LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agentic systems at Exabyte scale.
Drive the adoption and deployment of agentic workflows and techniques to create autonomous, data-driven security features.
Design scalable, fault‑tolerant, cost‑effective data solutions, emphasizing rapid iteration and high-quality deployment.
Write production‑ready code with focus on performance, maintainability, and testing rigor, shipping fast without compromising quality.
Provide technical leadership in data modeling, normalization, and semantic cataloging for AI/ML workloads.
Establish best practices for MLOps/DataOps around LLMs, including monitoring, observability, and zero‑touch recovery mechanisms.
Mentor engineers, conduct workshops and design reviews, strengthening the team’s AI platform knowledge.
Collaborate across teams to transform research prototypes into production‑grade services.
Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of critical data services: development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Tech Stack
MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI)
Agentic workflow frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
High‑level programming languages (Python, JVM technologies)
Distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Dask, Flink)
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) and related data services
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Message queuing and streaming (Kafka, Pulsar)
Data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery) and orchestration (Airflow, Kubeflow)
What You'll Need
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of progressive data engineering/platform engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML or data science platforms at massive scale.
Hands‑on experience in LLM engineering (fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, deployment), RAG, and agentic workflows.
Track record of designing and delivering large‑scale distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency).
Exceptional coding skills: clean, elegant, performant code with extensive testing.
Strong understanding of engineering practices: code reviews, resilient architecture, comprehensive testing.
Prior Principal or Staff level engineering role with demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship.
Bonus Points
Experience building, deploying, and managing LLMs in production.
Background in cybersecurity, intelligence, or high‑compliance industries.
Contributions to open‑source projects related to data or AI/ML.
