Facilitating surgical procedures by thoroughly prepping and organizing the operation area Ensuring sterile fields and following strict infection control protocols Handing surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons and their teams Managing and maintaining surgical equipment throughout procedures Monitoring necessary supplies to guarantee readiness for upcoming surgeries Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff Maintaining meticulous surgical counts and documentation Required Education:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent is necessary Certifications Required:
Valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire Essential Skills and Assumptions:
