Associate Veterinarian Vineyard Veterinary Clinic is a thriving small animal and exotics practice located in the beautiful town of Edgartown, MA on Martha's Vineyard. We are excited to be hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated and growing team. Why choose us?
Diverse Caseload: We are a general practice that also sees urgent care and occasional walk-in cases. Our team treats dogs, cats, and exotics, including small mammals, birds, and reptiles, making each day unique and rewarding. Supportive Mentorship: We welcome new graduates and provide strong mentorship opportunities. Our doctors enjoy collaborating and are committed to supporting professional growth. Skilled Support Staff: Vineyard offers excellent support staff including veterinary assistants and technicians who are empowered to handle advanced tasks (catheters, intubation, injections, etc.), allowing doctors to focus on practicing medicine. Modern Facility & Equipment: Our clinic is equipped with digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, cautery, and a full in-house lab to support comprehensive care. Culture of Care: Our doctors and staff pride themselves on practicing high-quality, science-based medicine while maintaining a Fear-Free approach to patient care and client communication.

Full Time, Part-Time, or Relief Veterinarian Proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry (mentorship available for new grads) Comfortable with or interested in learning exotic pet medicine (training and mentorship available)

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one) DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
