Perform thorough patient evaluations, coordinate diagnostic testing, and develop personalized care strategies Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians, or independently depending on your credentials Guide patients and their families on health maintenance, preventive care, and management of existing conditions Prescribe medications and treatment protocols as allowed within your practice scope Engage in follow-up care and chronic illness management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and streamlined patient care Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Required Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner license in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or comparable specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or obtain within 90 days) Exceptional Skills
