Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies that help them accomplish their functional objectives. Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living functions. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a thorough, integrative approach to care. Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic methods to encourage ongoing progress outside of the therapy space. Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment as necessary to ensure patients remain on track with their rehabilitation goals. Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT certification is mandatory Essential Skills
