Experience: Minimum 1 year CT Tech in a hospital setting License: Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT Certifications: BLS from AHA only

Description: Performs diagnostic CT scans independently at a technical level. Transports patients when needed. Observes universal precautions consistently. Wears proper personal protective equipment when appropriate. Maintains a clean and well-groomed appearance. Understands the importance of the integrity of the archive. Follows established downtime processes when needed. Performs all post-processing procedures on the workstations. Performs all necessary functions on the QC workstation. Technical skill in medical scanning is required. Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy is necessary. Computer skills in PACS, HIS/RIS, QC, and workstations are essential. Proficiency in the use of power injectors and CPR is needed. Must be capable of manipulating equipment and evaluating images. Person must be able to lift, move, and transport patients. Continual standing and walking are required. Adaptability to stressful and emergent situations is important. Good communication skills are necessary. Familiarity with equipment such as CT scanners and computers is expected.
