Contract Length: 16 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program. Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred, or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with cardiac catheterization experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Minimum of five years of recent cardiac catheterization laboratory experience preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards. Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the clinical team. Document procedural information accurately and completely.
