Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational techniques. Create individualized therapy plans targeting immediate objectives and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech treatment interventions focusing on voice, fluency, language, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, and family members to devise unified care strategies. Educate patients and families to foster therapy progress beyond clinical realms. Occasionally conduct inpatient speech evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and institutional regulations. Engage in ongoing learning opportunities through continuing education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
