Graduate of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic program (or equivalent training/experience) Current certification or registry with ABRET (R. EEG T.) preferred BLS certification (required) Minimum of 1 year of EEG experience Strong communication and patient care skills
Neurodiagnostic / EEG Tech Contract Details:
$1,422 - $1,569 per week* Estimated weekly Location - Chapel Hill, North Carolina Setting - Hospital 13 week contract, with possibility to extend 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized EEG recordings on patients of all ages Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot EEG equipment Recognize, record, and alert medical staff to significant patient events Assist physicians in the interpretation of EEG results Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
