WHAT YOU'LL DO Patient & Surgical Support
Assist with patient preparation including clipping, aseptic prep, and positioning for surgical procedures Support scrub and circulating technicians during soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries Help monitor patients during recovery and communicate status updates to the care team Assist with wound care, bandaging, and discharge preparation under technician supervision Instrumentation & Supplies
Clean, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following established protocols Help maintain surgical supply inventory and restock as needed Assist with organizing and preparing instrument packs and surgical suite setup Team Support
Work closely with technicians, surgeons, and support staff to keep procedures running smoothly Follow direction from credentialed technicians and surgeons at all times Uphold OSHA and hospital safety standards within the surgical suite Support a clean, organized, and ready surgical environment BENEFITS

REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in a veterinary or clinical setting required Eagerness to learn surgical support, sterile technique, and instrument handling Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a fast-paced team Strong communication skills and a calm, focused demeanor under pressure Comfort with physical demands including patient handling, lifting, and potential exposure to anesthetic gases and radiation (PPE provided and required) Interest in pursuing credentialing (CVT/LVT/RVT) is a plus Must be comfortable with physical demands of the role including patient handling, lifting, and potential exposure to anesthetic gases, radiation, and other hazardous materials; PPE provided and required
