Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or with physician collaboration (depending on credentialing) Providing valuable education to patients and families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive care Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington state National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or the ability to obtain these within 90 days Key Skills and Attributes
