Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative role would require daily communication with external customers, sales teammates, and other NSMEM teammates. The position will be responsible for managing customer accounts (new/existing) in conjunction with DSMs, quoting customer inquiries, entering customer orders, providing customer status updates, and performing other functions that support the NSMEM sales team. Candidates must be self-motivated and have strong organizational and time-management skills. Successful individuals are expected to be personally accountable and, at times, to work with minimal supervision. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. This position requires Candidates to have valid work authorization in the U.S. Compensation Salary Range Based on Experience: $66,497.60 - $89,107.02 Minimum Qualifications: 1. Willingness for occasional travel. 2. +3 years in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or a similar field. 3. +3 years of experience in the steel industry 3. Excellent computer skills using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications: 1. +5 years min. Inside Sales or a similar field 2. College degree or equivalent experience in a related field 3. Prior experience in Oracle 4. +5 years prior experience with Steel products sales. SBQ Bar sales/technical sales is a plus.
