No Licenses and Credentials Phlebotomy Technician [National Certification] - Generic - HR Only required Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Experience Experience in phlebotomy 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Demonstrates proficiency in proper collection methods and proper processing of all specimens, including correct tube selection, volume, and stability requirements. - Ensures smooth daily operations. - Must have demonstrated leadership, communication (oral and written), and problem-solving ability. - Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently. - Requires human relations skills to influence and motivate others. - Superior customer service skills, with the ability to show empathy and respect for patients' privacy and autonomy. - Demonstrates complex problem-solving skills outside of everyday occurrences and is proficient in downtime procedures and protocols. - Assess changing operational needs and provide suggestions related to staffing and service requirements to the Supervisor. - Performs preliminary investigation of problems and offers solutions to prevent and minimize recurrence. - Works independently and collaborates effectively within a team, actively partnering with team members by fostering a welcoming work environment and respecting individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
