Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including thorough physical examinations and assessments of medical histories Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory data Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing the operating room, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and effectively managing surgical instruments Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, inclusive of administering medications, overseeing wound care, planning discharges, and delivering patient education Education
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Experience with clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices is strongly preferred Certifications
Current and unencumbered PA-C certification BLS and ACLS certifications are a must State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Skills
