Schedule Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week, from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM. Job Description The Pediatric Cardiac Prep and Recovery RN is responsible for providing pre and post-anesthesia care for special cardiovascular, electrophysiology, and interventional catheter procedures spanning a patient demographic from neonates to geriatric congenital cardiac patients. This role involves strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, particularly in preparation for and recovery from pediatric cardiac procedures. ResponsibilitiesPerform a minimum of 2-3 patient visits per day. Care for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures, device closures, valve interventions, and other specialized catheterization procedures. Monitor patients pre and post-procedure, ensuring their safety and comfort. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureA minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric ICU or procedural care nursing is preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
