Qualifications of an Admissions Nurse include:
Valid state RN nursing license Experience in Long-Term Care setting preferred Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
