Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized assessment tools and observational techniques. Create tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver engaging, individualized speech therapy sessions that focus on various aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members to develop a unified care approach. Guide and educate patients and families to support progress outside clinical sessions. Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions in speech therapy, ensuring seamless care continuity throughout the treatment process. Maintain precise and timely records that comply with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Education
Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
